At the Joshua vs Whyte final press conference, things got a little heated. Dillian Whyte was all smiles when he locked eyes with Anthony Joshua, and couldn’t resist verbally taunting his Saturday night opponent. Whyte may have won the war of words, but does he have what it takes to defeat Joshua, the Heavyweight division’s greatest prospect?
Going in, Joshua holds a perfect 14 wins, 14 knockouts, no defeats, while Whyte carries 16 wins, 13 knockouts, no defeats.
The Sky Sports Box Office card will also feature another fiery clash in Chris Eubank Jr vs Gary ‘Spike’ O’Sullivan. Eubank is a promising, heavy-handed prospect who, after suffering a loss to Billy Joe Saunders in last November, is in a must-win fight. O’Sullivan, whose sole loss is also to Saunders, should provide a stern enough for 26-year-old Eubank. Check out the rest of the impressive undercard, featuring Luke Campbell, Kevin Mitchell and Tony Bellew, here.
iFL TV cameras caught the intensity between Joshua and Whyte earlier today:
What do you think, fight fans? Does Dillian Whyte stand any chance of winning whatsoever? Or was he just posturing, as Joshua has said all along, at the presser?
