This evening’s PBC on CBS card is set and ready to unfold in Corpus Christi, Texas. Anthony Dirrell weighed in at 169.6 pounds and Marco Antonio Rubio 169.4 for their Super Middleweight headliner. Which, actually, unbeknownst to moi, appears to be taking place slightly higher at a 170 pound catchweight. Or so it would now appear. Anyway, both fighters are set to fight.
Dirrell will enter the ring 27-1-1, 22 knockouts, and Rubio 59-7-1, 51 knockouts.
ThaBoxingVoice cameras caught all the action:
The co-support weigh-in, which should arguably be featuring as the main event, saw Jamie McDonnell and Tomoki Kameda both come in at 117.8 pounds. They will be fighting in a Bantamweight rematch following their neck-and-neck first encounter back in May.
McDonnell will climb through the ropes 26-2-1, 12 knockouts, and Kameda 31-1, 19 knockouts. McDonnell’s WBA Bantamweight title will be on the line.
Give us your thoughts on the Dirrell-Rubio weigh-in, folks.
