At the KC Lightstream Stadium, Hull, British Lightweights Luke Campbell and Tommy Coyle successfully made weight on the scales. Coyle (21-2, 10 KO) came in at 9st 8lb, followed by Campbell (11-0, 9 KO) at 9st 8lb, 5oz.
Both men looked in fine shape and chose to not exchange a word during the stare down. Not that this event needed any more hype in the fighters’ hometown of Hull where it’s already making headlines on a daily basis.
Campbell is the favorite here, and you can bet his significant height and reach advantage will pay dividends when they lock horns tomorrow night.

The Campbell vs Coyle card will also feature Brian Rose vs Carson Jones, Ricky Burns vs Prince Ofotsu, and Dillian Whyte vs Ireneu Costa. At least two of those support bouts are decent match-ups. The action will be broadcast on Sky Sports 1.
