Both men looked in magnificent shape, and quite the physical specimens ahead of their 144 pound catchweight encounter. To add to the hype surrounding the Premier Boxing Champions event, even Broner’s figurative big brother Floyd Mayweather was on stage before the heated stare down commenced.

Things were a little more professional than the Ward vs Smith weigh-in over in California, it has to be said…

Broner came in at 143.5 pounds, while Porter came in bang on the 144 limit. Both fighter’s contrasting personalities add yet more drama to this affair which is largely viewed as swarmer vs boxer.

FightHub cameras caught all the drama, including Broner’s anticipated – of course! – trash-talking and showmanship. Porter gave little reaction, stood his ground, and gave little away except absolute composure and focus.
