At the KC Lightstream Stadium, Hull, England, Dillian Whyte knocked out Irineu Costa in the 1st round of their Heavyweight contest. Whyte was patient leading up to the first knockdown, produced from a full-blooded right-hand.
Costa beat the count, but was floored again soon after courtesy of a left-hook. Whyte will now face rival Anthony Joshua in late 2015.
Whyte now extends his unbeaten record to 15-0, 12 KO – but will Joshua be concerned by what he saw here in Hull?
