Everyone has an opinion of Al Haymon, arguably the most influential man in boxing right now. Is the manager-come-promoter-come-adviser bringing boxing back to the masses through (mostly) free TV network shows? Or is the camera-shy figure creating a boxing monopoly? For now, let’s all agree on one thing: an unbelievable amount of fighters have signed up for the ‘Haymon treatment’.
And that list, which features many of our Top 10 Ranked Boxers, is continuing to grow rapidly, as is Haymon’s outfit, Premier Boxing Champions (PBC). Not every fighter in his stable is guaranteed to be – if not already – a bona fide star, but that stable is filled with seemingly endless potential. With the right cultivation, we can expect a good number of those unbeaten fighters to bloom over the next few years.
Haymon’s client roster (whether advised, managed or promoted), in no particular order, is listed below. And boy, did it take a while to compile that list. Note: our findings revealed close to 170 boxers, but that figure could well be higher.
